Postpartum Depression Test
Postpartum depression is the most common complication of childbirth, with at least 20% of birthing women affected. This screening tool (Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale) is used to help identify if you might have depression during pregnancy or within the first year after childbirth.
When to take this test:
while pregnant
6-8 weeks postpartum
when symptoms occur 12 months postpartum
You are not alone. When used with proper clinical assessment and treatment, you will get better.
